MDots Names Anne Babin As Senior Designer
Universal City, CA, August 23, 2006 - Newly formed MDots has named Anne Babin as its new Senior Designer. The announcement was made by Allan Wells, president/founder, and Marc Dahlstrom, Managing Director, of MDots.
ABOUT ANNE BABIN:
Anne Babin is the newest member of the Mdots design team. The two time Emmy Award winning title designer is MDots‘ new Senior Designer. Her design work on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” earned her two Emmy Awards (2004/2006). During her first few weeks with Mdots, Babin directed and designed the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards broadcast graphics package.
“Anne had a great vision for this year‘s Emmy package dubbed ‘Emmy City.‘ Her attention to scale and detail, while producing a graphics package that meets the broadcast needs of the producer, shows her depth of design and motion graphics,” said Vince Jimenez, Mdots‘ Design Director.
Prior to joining Mdots, Babin founded LAVA CREATIVE, Inc., a motion graphics and design firm based in Santa Monica, CA. Through LAVA, she developed and designed projects for DirecTV, ABC, Telepictures, Sony Pictures Television and NBC.
Other primetime main title designs by Babin have included the critically acclaimed “Emily’s Reason Why Not,” “Center of the Universe” and “The Sharon Osbourne Show.” She is also a multiple BDA Gold Award winner.
