DAVID NAYLOR OF THE DVD GROUP JOINS TV/DVD PANEL

Hollywood, CA, October 4, 2006 - David Naylor, head of The DVD Group, Hollywood‘s premiere producer of featurettes, documentaries and other bonus features for mainstream feature films and television series released on DVD, has been added as a panelist to the Home Media Retailing‘s TV/DVD

Conference on Oct. 5. Naylor and his company have recently produced bonus features for several hit TV series on DVD, including “Lost,” “Alias,” “Criminal Minds” and “The Simpsons.”


Mr. Naylor will participate in a session entitled “Crossing Channels,” which will be held from 11-11:45 am on Oct. 5th at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.


The session is described as follows: The worlds of television and DVD are converging–fast. The success of “Family Guy” on DVD brought the show back to life on the Fox network. Sony Television has just announced a new initiative in which it plans on developing series for DVD. What changes has TV DVD brought to the broadcast studio, and what can we expect to see in the future?


In addition to Mr. Naylor, the panel will also feature moderator Andrew Wallenstein, TV editor, The Hollywood Reporter, and panelists Jeff Brown, SVP and general manager, franchise, Warner Home Video and Sofia Chang, VP of marketing, HBO Video.
