Digital Vision Expands Operations with New Staff in Europe, U.S.

Stockholm, Sweden - 31 January, 2007 - Digital Vision, a leading developer of advanced digital media applications specialising in film and video, recently added a number of key new staff to support its rapidly-growing worldwide customer base and to drive continued adoption of its products. The appointments expand the company‘s depth and expertise in Engineering, Customer Support, and Sales/Marketing, with new personnel joining in London, Los Angeles, and Stockholm.

Four new staff members have joined the London office. Product Marketing Director Sandra Squire brings two decades of sales and broadcast/post-production industry experience. She has held business development and sales positions with leading broadcast systems manufacturers Pro-Bel and Leitch, and was instrumental in driving product adoption for both companies across Europe and Asia. She joins Digital Vision most recently from Codan Ltd., where she was responsible for establishing the Australian broadcast/communication systems company‘s brand and customer base in Europe.

Adding further depth to the company‘s product development and customer support teams are Product Specialist Eliot Milbourne, a new industry talent who joins from Soho‘s Baraka Post Production where he handled colour grading and compositing for film, TV, and commercial productions; Field Application Engineer Rob Wall, who joins from BBC News where he spent five years as a Broadcast Technology Support Specialist handling a range of cameras, video and play-out servers, and nonlinear editing and audio production systems; and Quality Assurance Engineer Seth Arora, a recent graduate of Kingston University with a degree in Media Technology.

Andrea Korpita joins the Los Angeles sales organisation as Post-Production Account Manager, teaming up with Schel Kuehnert to grow and support the company‘s customer base in North America. Andrea held senior sales positions at companies including Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Moving Pictures, and ShowBiz Expo before joining Digital Vision. The company has also added operational support staff at its Stockholm headquarters.

“As the post-production industry evolves and facilities look to expand their digital services, they‘ve embraced Digital Vision products for a wide variety of content including High Definition mastering, commercials grading, 2k and 4k Digital Intermediate, and archive restoration,” said Simon Cuff, Digital Vision‘s President and Chief Operating Officer. “To ensure that our users are well-supported with rapidly-evolving products and knowledgeable service teams, and to meet the demand of new customers interested in our products, we‘ve expanded our organisation in key areas. We‘re of course pleased by the growth of the industry and our own success, and look forward to the contributions of this talented group of professionals.”

Digital Vision provides innovative image restoration, enhancement, colour correction and data conforming systems that major movie studios, television networks and post-production facilities use to produce and enhance feature films, TV programs and commercials. The company‘s Nucoda product line provides a strong suite of products for tapeless and non linear grading for HD broadcast and 2k/4k digital intermediate productions. The company‘s award-winning products are a standard of the media and entertainment industry and are deployed at top facilities and broadcasters around the world.
