NEWYORK—Joe Glass, a former Senior Producer at J. Walter Thompson, New York, has joined the staff of Thornberg & Forester. Glass will produce advertising, broadcast and interactive assignments for the multi-disciplinary studio. He is already working on several projects including a network rebrand for The Science Channel, as well as campaign of four 30-second 3D spots, also for The Science Channel, done through Mono, Minneapolis. He also produced, with Thornberg & Forester partner Elizabeth Kiehner, a commercial for Radio Shack and Sirius Satellite Radio through Arnold, Boston.

Glass will help Thornberg & Forester keep pace with its rising production slate. “We’ve been gaining a lot of momentum since our move to larger quarters last fall,� said Kiehner. “I worked with Joe on several projects when he was at JWT, including a campaign for Jet Blue. He is adept at troubleshooting as well as providing creative solutions for the myriad details that arise in the scope of a job. His extensive agency background is also a plus.�

Glass spent four years at J. Walter Thompson and JWT2, where where he oversaw broadcast and interactive projects for such clients as Cadbury, Kimberly Clark, Helene Curtis and Diageo (Smirnoff). Most recently, he worked as a freelance producer for Blue Barn Pictures, New York. Glass is a graduate of Huntington College in Montgomery, Alabama.
