Alan Ett Creative Group Pacts With 44 Blue Productions To Become Production Company’s Virtual Music Department

Studio City, CA (February 25, 2008) — 44 Blue Productions is one of America’s top suppliers of reality, documentary, lifestyle, and action-adventure programming. Alan Ett Creative Group has entered into a pact with 44 Blue where the AECG family of companies will become a Virtual Music Department for 44 Blue.

In the ever-changing world of production, the role of music and the opportunities afforded by music are expanding exponentially. Music is a branding element and has the potential of delivering a variety of additional revenue streams that are not typically pursued by a media production company.

Alan Ett notes, “This is a new business model we have initiated for 44 Blue Productions.” Under the terms of the new agreement, 44 Blue and AECG will enter into a worldwide co-publishing agreement. 44 Blue will commission works from AECG composers and these tracks will become the property of the new 44 Blue/AECG music data base hard drive which 44 Blue will own 100% outright.

In the future, Opus 1 Music Library, AECG’s sister company will represent the new music library, taking on music supervision duties and the group’s royalty collection company, International Music Royalty Administration Services (IMRAS) will be responsible for worldwide collections of the revenue generated by all the catalogs.

The relationship assures 44 Blue of the highest quality of musical creativity from this award winning group of music professionals, total compliance with all of the legal issues surrounding music, and the opportunity to create multiple revenue streams from a production segment that had been only an expense item previously.

Ett adds, “AECG can accomplish all of this because of the unique manner in which the company is structured, the depth of talent employed here and the expertise we have in all of these various arenas.”

“Music is a critical component of all of our shows. That’s why I’m thrilled to be working with one of the most respected composers in the business. Alan’s experience in this area puts 44 Blue Productions on the forefront of the music publishing industry,” said 44 Blue co-owner Rasha Drachkovitch.
