New York-based Sound Lounge Music & Sound Design is pleased to announce the hiring of Executive Producer, Marcus Smith. Most recently, Smith was Co-Founder/Executive Producer for New York-based music company, Siblings. While at Siblings, Marcus produced memorable commercial campaigns for Siemans (Publicis, NY), JC Penny (Saatchi, NY), and Nikon (McCann, NY). In addition to spotwork, Marcus produced the original music for 2008 Oscar-winning documentary, Taxi to the Dark Side. Prior to Siblings, Marcus worked at Universal Motown Records Group in A&R and Finance. “I feel fortunate to have found such a snug fit within the diverse, yet unified walls of Sound Lounge. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to provide smart, effective music solutions for clients across all mediums of production,” notes Smith.

Partner/Sound Designer Marshall Grupp comments on the addition, “We’re pleased to bring someone with Marcus’ youth, exuberance, and experience into the Sound Lounge family of brands. Marcus has been involved in music initiatives across all genres of production including: commercials, films, and integrated projects, and we’re looking forward to him leading our charge deeper into those areas.”
