Florida State University Joins Luxology’s Education Provider Program
San Mateo, Calif. – July 22, 2008 – Luxology® LLC, developers of modern, artist-focused 3D software, today announced a partnership with Florida State University that will make modo® 3D software available to all students enrolled in the College of Communication’s Media Production Program as well as the staff of Seminole Productions, Florida State’s in-house production facility. Florida State is the first institution to join Luxology’s Education Provider Program (EPP), a new academic initiative designed to offer select colleges and universities with increased access to modo and other innovative 3D technology and training from Luxology.

As a partner in this program, Florida State will receive special pricing for faculty members and labs, including options for floating licenses and a blanket site license; automatic entitlement to any modo updates that are released within a year of issuance or renewal; access to Luxology training materials at reduced pricing, and Luxology technical support for select academic projects.
