Vizrt, a leading provider of real-time, integrated broadcast graphics software, announces the introduction of the first fully integrated Vizrt and Escenic product since the acquisition of Escenic in July of this year. Vizrt will introduce Escenic Content Studio, a powerful, all-in-one solution for online content production. Escenic Content Studio is now fully integrated with Vizrt video asset management tools Viz Video Hub 1.2 and Viz Ardome.

Escenic Content Studio will be demonstrated by Vizrt for the first time at the IBC convention, Stand Number (2.B31/2.C39), from September 12-16 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The alpha release of Escenic Content Studio for graphics will be shown at IBC as well. The integration is available for the existing Content Studio 4, and the upcoming Escenic Content Studio 5, to be released later this Fall.

The integration between Escenic Content Studio and the Vizrt asset management software provides a single interface for all video and graphic assets for existing Escenic web publishing customers. Escenic Content Studio allows newspaper journalists to increase their use of video within the publication’s online presence and enables the use of high-resolution graphics and video in Escenic-based web pages.

Likewise, broadcasters can repurpose their wealth of video assets easily online, thereby significantly enhancing their online presence.â€?

Stored video assets within Viz Video Hub can be shared among departments, regardless of whether they are being created for television or the Internet. The solution can be expanded to IPTV, TV and multi-channel production. Similarly, the Vizrt-Escenic integration proposes a viable solution for broadcasters targeting web publishing without duplicating their organizations. Journalists can title and brand clips within the same interface, using Vizrt graphics solutions and templates.

Video content can come from various sources, such as mobile phone and web upload. Depending on the type of ingest required, a variety of Vizrt products would be used. For example, Vizrt’s Viz Reporter allows direct ingest of high-quality video clips and metadata from mobile phones to the MAM. Video from tape or from a camera would be ingested using Viz Capture and Viz Ingest Manager would handle the ingest of live feeds. The clips are available for search and use immediately after ingest.

The solution comes as a complete package including pre-configured hardware for storage and encoding. All hardware is based on standard IT storage and services for simple maintenance and integration with existing IT infrastructure. The solution can be installed in-house or hosted by a third party service company.
