Los Angeles & New York (–February 13, 2009–) For Super Bowl XLIII, which aired earlier this month on NBC, Company 3 contributed color correction to more than 1/3 of all commercials broadcast for this year’s game. Sister company Method Studios contributed visual effects to a total of six spots aired during Super Bowl ‘09.
Such high-profile Super Bowl commercials that featured creative services from Company 3 and Method were Career Builders’ “Tips,� Hulu’s “Alec in Huluwood,� Pepsi “Refresh� and “Pass,� and TheLadders’ “Little Creatures� and “Chairs.�
Additionally, Company 3 provided color correction for Super Bowl spots for Audi, Gatorade, Cars.com, Hyundai, Sobe, Heineken, Taco Bell, NFL, USA Networks, Paramount Pictures and Toyota, just to name a few. Colorists at Company 3 who contributed to Super Bowl commercials this year included: Stefan Sonnenfeld, Mike Pethel, Dave Hussey, Tim Masick, Sean Coleman, Matt Turner, Billy Gabor, and Tom Poole.
