CINEPED, Torrance California, is announcing June 2009 availability of their new panoramic 360° camera support system. The final product will be unveiled at this year’s Cine Gear Expo June 5th & 6th at Paramount Pictures Studios, Hollywood CA.

CINEPED, a unique camera support equipment system, offers camera operators the opportunity to capture exceptional images with ease. More than a dolly or tripod, the solidly constructed apparatus features a 42� 360° rotational sliding camera plate, extendable automatic positioning telescopic column, digital remote control, and a diamond-style mobile base with heavy duty rubber wheels. Designed to allow for a wealth of camera angles and image capturing that no other single camera support system can provide – including horizontal & vertical movement, panoramic/360° movement, & compound camera moves – CINEPED maneuvers effortlessly with fine-tuned, virtually noise free operation.

With a weight capacity of 120 lbs, the sliding rotational camera plate can carry multiple cameras simultaneously. The telescopic column, with a base height of 58� (with camera), extends to a height of 74.5�. When the telescopic column is removed, sliding rotational camera plate attaches directly to mobile base for capturing low/ground shots. The mobile base is a mere 27� wide for tight shooting spaces. CINEPED is also ideal for smooth transitions, extreme close-ups, table-top and POV shots. The system includes digital remote control box, battery/charger, AC/DC converter, and low mode adaptor.

For studio or location shoots, CINEPED is completely modular for easy transport and fast, uncomplicated camera repositioning, making it ideal for television, commercial, and motion picture production. Including the sliding camera plate (45 lbs), telescopic column (39 lbs), and mobile base (70 lbs), total system weight is only 154 lbs. Assembly is quick and trouble-free.
