With the introduction of the new EXII 0.8X Wide Converter, 16×9 Inc. offers a superior, HD-quality lens converter at an even lower price. The move is part of an aggressive pricing structure 16×9 Inc. has put into place across the entire new EXII line of lenses. 16×9 Inc. understands that the current economic climate is tough, but getting outstanding high-definition images doesn’t have to be.
Featuring a two-element design, the compact, lightweight EXII 0.8X Wide Converter increases wide-angle coverage by 20% over the stock lens with minimal barrel distortion. Better yet, the EXII 0.8X is full zoom-through.
The EXII 0.8X Wide Converter was specifically designed for the high-end Fujinon 17X zoom lens that comes with the Panasonic HPX300 and JVC GY-HM700 HD cameras. However, 16×9 Inc. is making the improved optics of the EXII 0.8X available for a variety of popular HDV cameras from Canon, Panasonic and Sony. In addition to 62, 72, 77 and 82mm threaded mounts, 16×9 Inc. will offer multiple bayonet mounts.
