Digital Vision Announces Michael Freudenthal as CEO

Michael Freudenthal, CEO, Digital Vision

Digital Vision has today named Michael Freudenthal as CEO, starting as of December. This announcement follows strong Q3 results and continues the company’s investment in key staff to develop and deliver innovative image enhancement and restoration solutions. Klas Ã…ström, who has been instrumental in driving Digital Vision forward over the last 12 months, will remain with the company as CFO.

Freudenthal, who has held key high-level roles in the technology sector, will lead the company from its Swedish headquarters in Stockholm. He recently held the position of VP and COO at IQUBE, one of the Nordic region’s leading centres for entrepreneurship and early-stage growth companies. He was also CEO of mobile technology group Mobyson, Group Managing Director of Letsbuyit.com, COO and VP of AcadeMedia and Managing Director and co-owner of Lighthouse Software.

“I am delighted to join Digital Vision and I pledge my commitment to the company’s continued success in the future. Technology in the film and video content creation sector has evolved rapidly in recent years and Digital Vision’s dedication to the global creative community will see the company continue to drive the industry forward” says Freudenthal.

He adds, “My strong background in growing technology and leading-edge companies to serve a wider audience brings another dimension to an extremely committed management team. There is always an opportunity for growth even in the recent troubled markets. Digital Vision has the capability to not only grow market share but also expand its portfolio into other technology sectors that require the company’s unique science.”
