OLD LYME, Conn. – August 31, 2010 – The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM), which opened to the public in Phoenix, AZ last April, is an astonishingly rich cultural experience that features over 75,000 square feet of exhibit space and over 10,000 instruments from around the world. When the project began over three years ago, establishing an integrated, multi-sensory learning experience for visitors was among the museum’s most important and challenging goals.
