DVC has delivered the newest, 1080p50-enabled version of its 2-channel disk recorders to the Italian broadcaster RAI.

DVC offers its disk recorder from ClipRecorder series now in the new version of ClipRecorder XTreme X2. The two channels of uncompressed HD material can handle up to 1080p60. Such a device now has been delivered by DVC to the Italian broadcaster RAI. The transmitter sets the ClipRecorder, inter alia, as a player for uncompressed 1080p50 imagery in stereo 3D projection.

ClipRecorder XTreme X2 is the latest model of the ClipRecorders. There can be two channels of uncompressed 1080p60 with up to 10 bits in parallel. The two channels can be configured: simultaneous recording and playback are also possible, such as synchronized recording and playback, for example, 3D-stereo or multi-screen projection.

The ClipRecorder XTreme X2 measures 4 HU and can be equipped with up to 8 TB internal memory.

Grünwald / Herrsching – RTL II installed a complete DVB over IP solution allowing 200 employees to simultaneously view about 50 TV and radio channels at the work place.

At the core of the installation is the Exterity prodaptor chassis. With this chassis, the 50 DVB-S TV and radio channels, which come from several satellites, can be streamed to the in-house IP network. more

SpinetiX and DVC announce the certification of the Exterity TVGateway as a Live TV streaming solution for the Hyper Media Player (HMP100). TV channels, DVB-T or DVB-S can be transferred directly from the TVGateway to the SpinetiX HMP100 via IP network, making it available for live playback.

Thanks to the interoperation between the two products, TV channels are streamed in high quality via the network directly to the HMP100 and allow digital signage and product presentations to combine with live TV events or news and weather reports. more
