Quantel Office Burglarized, Neo Stolen

Quantel’s Neo control panelBURBANK, CA (April 30, 2008)— Quantel’s regional office, here, was broken into early this week, and the company’s brand new Neo control panel for its Pablo color correction system was taken. Quantel introduced Neo at NAB in Las Vegas this month and has already taken orders for 20 units, as its Newbury, UK, factory ramps up production.


Neo was designed through feedback from Pablo users and incorporates a layout that allows for fast work by either left- or right-handed operators. The control panel offers one-button access to menus, keeping functions easily accessible. Ahost of organic LEDs, as well as its backlit fascia, help to provide visual feedback to the user. more

Cine-tal Systems (www.cine-tal.com), a leading manufacturer of image processing, display and collaboration solutions used in digital cinema and video production, has appointed Glen Green to the post of Vice President of Sales.
