Another super hot day in Boston but at least the tradeshow floor is mercifully cool, there is a ton of good stuff to look at & demos left right & centre! Best freebie? Nintendo key ring lights that my nephews will no doubt covet. Good to catch up with the VFS booth. The Electronic Theatre was AWESOME!! Great atmosphere in there & absolutely packed - Really fun was the audience driven animal pong & etch a sketch beforehand, it got everyone in the mood. So many great films & the variety was incredible.

Anyhoo must get on with preparing my VFS talk for tomorrow.

Hi from a sweltering Boston & my 1st Siggraph!

Good flight in from London & managed to get to a fun contributors party on union st last night despite feeling fairly jetlagged…!

I’m amazed at the gargantuan / huge & generally unsmall nature of this conference! Just got out of Joe Rohde’s keynote about Virtual Placemaking which was pretty interesting. The emerging technolgy talk this morning was fun, including a liquid touchpond & the MIT huggable bear project looks very cool. Now looking forward to the electronic theatre tonight. Laptop low on juice so time to go!
