Press Release: ASCAP Brings Music to the Mountains at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival

Celebrating their 9th year as the producers of the daytime Music Café, ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) will present an exciting and dynamic mix of songwriters and artists from across the musical spectrum and around the world at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

The Sundance/ASCAP Music Café continues to be one of the most popular draws at the Festival. It is dedicated to showcasing the exceptional talent of new, emerging and established artists, including solo acts and major bands, and is a place where independent filmmakers can meet and interact with film composers and songwriters to encourage collaboration between these two creative communities.

Daytime performances will be open to Festival credential holders from January 19 - 27, 2007. Performances will take place each day from 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM (4:00 PM - 6:45 PM on Friday, January 19).
