Press Release: Zoom In Online to Produce First-Ever Podcasts of Sundance Panels
As a complimentary piece to our bloggings, the panels offered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival will be made publicly available via podcasts for the first time ever through Zoom In Online. In addition to producing the podcasts, Zoom In Online built the platform to deliver festival content in near-real time at festival.sundance.org/2007 and on iTunes.
Zoom In Online will offer exclusive daily coverage of the 2007 Sundance Film Festival at www.zoom-in.com. The site will feature daily video blog posts by prominent independent film veteran Reid Rosefelt featuring interviews with filmmakers and celebrated industry veterans, as well as film reviews by Zoom In Online senior editor Annie Young Frisbie. Sponsored by Adobe, Rosefelt’s festival presentation on film marketing will also be available on the site. Along with filmmaker documentaries from the festival, Zoom In Online will continue to post its content after the close of the event as 2007 Sundance Film Festival projects make their theatrical debuts throughout the year.
Zoom In Online provides media and entertainment industry professionals with the essential information and tools for career and creative advancement. It is a premier destination site that combines quality content and community relevant to film and video, photography and design, music and audio, web design, and videogame development.
“The Sundance Film Festival remains at the forefront of discovering quality filmmakers who are pushing the envelope,” said Megan Cunningham, CEO and founder of Zoom In Online. “With all the capabilities that new distribution methods provide, we’re pleased to be able to capture the critical issues facing filmmakers today, and deliver that information across a variety of platforms.”
“I’ve gone to the Sundance Film Festival for many years, and it’s amazing how much the Internet and other new technology has changed it,” said Rosefelt, a renowned marketing and publicity guru and Zoom In Online’s on-site video blogger. “With Zoom In Online, the experience is opened up to filmmakers, students and industry professionals who can’t make the trip to Park City.”
