LIVEstyle Entertainment, the premier agency in North America for media-based event production and marketing, will once again take center stage during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. LIVEstyle Managing Partner Ryan Heil has teamed up with actor/DJ Danny Masterson and actor Chris Masterson to open Downstairs, the newest live event performance space on Main Street and the first celebrity-owned nightclub in the state of Utah. Located at 625 Main Street in Park City’s historic Old Town district, Downstairs will house LIVEstyle’s celebrated Film Lounge program sponsored by Stella Artois as well as the trailblazing Film Lounge Afterhours series sponsored by MySpace, Elite Model Management, Stella Artois, Vice Magazine, The Randolph at Broome, and Anywhere Road, beginning Friday, January 16th, through Friday, January 23rd.

At night, LIVEstyle Entertainment’s Film Lounge will transform Downstairs into the hottest spot on Main Street, hosting after parties for some of the festivals’ most anticipated films including: Sony Pictures Classics’ electric guitar doc It Might Get Loud featuring the film’s star Jack White of the White Stripes and Raconteurs and Academy Award winning director Davis Guggenheim; Jay DiPietro’s romantic drama Peter and Vandy starring Jason Ritter and Jesse L. Martin; Jordan Galland’s film Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead with stars Bijou Phillips and Devon Aoki; live musical performances by Ryan Cabrera and Tamarama duo MTV’s “The City” star Jay Lyon and Nicolas “Pottsy” Potts; as well as Vh1’s Best Week Ever commentator and stand up comic Seth Herzog’s SWEET comedy show series featuring comedians: Jim Gaffigan, Rob Corddry (”Daily Show” correspondent; “What Happen’s in Vegas”; “Heartbreak Kid”), John Viener (writer/voices for “Family Guy”), Donald Glover (writer/performer on “30 Rock”; also starring in “Mystery Team” at Sundance) and Aubrey Plaza (starring in new Judd Apatow film “Funny People”; also in “Mystery Team” at Sundance), among many others.

At the conclusion of the Film Lounge each night, Downstairs will host LIVEstyle’s Film Lounge Afterhours series, the best after-hours entertainment at the Festival. Afterhours parties presented by MySpace will feature DJ sets by Ruckus, the MisShapes and Jonathan Davis of Korn, while another exclusive late night event hosted by Elite Model Management and Pulse Management will feature Elite star Dree Hemingway and DJ sets by Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction and DJ Skribble. Other Afterhours series highlights include DJ sets by superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold, and Josh Madden, and live performances by legendary hip hop legend Guru and Dirty Vegas.

The weeklong celebration of LIVEstyle’s Film Lounge and Afterhours series, at Downstairs will kick off as follows:

• Friday, January 16th

o 8pm – 12:30am: LIVEstyle Film Lounge presents a special live performance by hip-hop legend Guru (Gang Starr)

o 1am – 5am: MySpace presents LIVEstyle Film Lounge Afterhours featuring a DJ set by Jonathan Davis of Korn

• Saturday, January 17th

o 5pm – 8pm: Sony Pictures Classics presents an exclusive after-party for “It Might Get Loud” with one of the stars of the film Jack White (of the White Stripes and Raconteurs) and Academy Award winning director Davis Guggenheim (“An Inconvenient Truth”)

o 8pm- 1am: Ivy Entertainment presents a LIVEstyle Film Lounge open party reception with live performances by Ryan Cabrera and Tamarama duo MTV’s The City star Jay Lyon and Nicolas “Pottsy” Potts as well as a DJ set by DJ Josh Madden

o 1am – 5am: MySpace presents LIVEstyle Film Lounge Afterhours with DJ sets by Ruckus and The MisShapes
